How To Flash Stock ROM On Lenovo K5 A6020a40 Using QFIL


  1. Download and install Qualcomm USB Driver on your Computer (If you have already installed the Qualcomm USB Driver on your computer, skip this step)
  2. Download and extract Qualcomm Flash Image Loader (QFIL) on your computer. After extracting, you will be able to see the following files:
  3. Now, Run the QFIL tool
  4. QFIL is launched
  5. Connect the device to the computer while in EDL Mode (device should be in EDL before connecting to pc). No Port Available should change to Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008
  6. Under Select Build Type, tick Flat Build
  7. Under Select Programmer, click Browse. In the Window that pops up, highlight the loader file (usually named prog_emmc_firehose_****.mbn) and click Open
  8. Click Load XML
  9. In the Window that pops up, highlight the rawprogram() file then click Open
  10. Another Window will automatically pop up, highlight the patch() file then click Open
  11. Click Download, QFIL should start flashing the firmware, Do Not interrupt
  12. You should get Download Succeed Finish Download once QFIL has successfully flashed the firmware. 
  13. Disconnect the device and boot up
